About Kongsvinger municipality and the project:
The municipality decided to expand the shooting and training course at Sæter for NOK 50 million. Kongsvinger Municipality wants to show the Police a change of pace, and be ahead of potential competitors such as Stavern and the planned emergency centre at Ski. In 2013, a letter of intent was signed between Kongsvinger municipality and the Police College to expand Sæter with training facilities, which include a shooting facility, a driving station and a helicopter landing place.
