Oslo Fire and Rescue (OBRE) selected the hearing protection and communication management system from INVISIO Communications. The delivery will be carried out by our partner Wireless Communication in close cooperation with Obsima Technology.
Briefly on the scope of the project
The delivery will cover all operational units in Oslo Fire and Rescue and will be delivered to both vehicles and persons. The equipment selected includes INVISIO V60, INVISIO X5, INVISIO X6 +, INVISIO T5, and INVISIO M15 PTT.
Requirement
The INVISIO V60 control unit enables the control of multiple radios and any telephone, and allows the user to control the level of ambient sound, and whether the sound from the connections should be left, right or both ears.
Together with the INVISIO X5 in-ear headset, hearing protection and clear speech from noisy environments are ensured, while the directional understanding of ambient sound is close to 100%.
Obsima Technology
The project has been a very important project for further marketing and sales to Fire and Rescue. The close cooperation with OBRE / Wireless, as well as very thorough tests/feedback, make us competitive when other Fire and Rescue customers in Norway will replace existing equipment.
